 - start with chain 80 and follow the chart. I worked until I was sure, the hooks have enough space in the case. The inside of the case is worked doubled: the seperate pockets for the hooks at the bottom and on top an extra layer so the hooks don`t poke through. The rest of it is selfexplaining...just follow the pictures....
I did not cut the yarn at the end of the row.

I made an extra layer made of single crochet stitches and I sew the pockets for the hooks to the case. It was the easyest way for me to do.
I used this kind of yarn : Rico Essentials Cotton DK
hook size: between C and D (11 in british)

The wonderful Gayle Arendt was so nice and wrote down the whole pattern. Thank you so much for your work. I had no idea how many hookers were interested in it.
You can find the pattern here:

  6. Hallo Heike,

    LG

  13. Sorry I can't read Norwegian . But the pic and the Graph take me step by step.I was just wondering how do you make the double shell that goes all the way around the case. Keep up the lovey work. God bless you and your beautiful baby.

    1. it is in German and English ;-)

      1. you have to measure it up how much of the cord you need.
      2. start with a long chain until the right length and on the back row you *skip 2 chains and 1sl St in next chain* follow until the end...
      3. shell stitch in each of the 2 chain spaces : *3hdc 1 sl st* do it on both sides and you have the double shell cord

measurements for the hook case : 41x21 cm
length of the cord: 60 cm

  19. This is so lovely - I've already made two, one for myself and one for a friend. I wanted to ask if it's ok with you if I try and sell the cases I make via my etsy page? I would of course credit you with the pattern. It's totally fine if you'd rather I don't do it, I'm just trying to think of things to put on there :)

  21. This case is just amazing! Love the colors. Already set aside a green version for my mother in law. :) however I am having difficulty with a couple things. How do I make the hook pockets? And is it just a simple single crochet trim until you get to the shell trim? Thank you very much for your help! :)

  29. Hallo!

Soweit so gut. Aber was passiert nach der LM-Reihe? Was bedeutet dieser Pfeil?

  46. Hi, lovely pattern! I've made the basic already but I just don't understand how you make the individual pockets for the hooks. How do you see them together. Do you go through the wavy base to attach the pockets? I guess not because then you'll see the thread. How do you make these pockets individual then? Thanks!

  48. Hallo.
